Cut to same location the following day. Lloyd walks onscreen. He stops to look at shoes. They're now on sale for $99.95. Lloyd happily walks into shoe store. A few minutes later, he walks out proudly wearing his new blue suede shoes.

Cut to Lloyd and Pam's living room. Pam is sitting in chair watching TV.

Lloyd

Honey! I'm home!

Pam

(Distracted.) Hello, dear.

Lloyd

(Standing before her.) Notice anything different?

Pam

(Glances briefly at him.) No, dear.

Lloyd strikes a series of poses trying to draw her attention to his new shoes.

Lloyd

You don't see anything about me that's new?

Pam

(Distracted.) No, dear. You're still the same old you.

Lloyd grunts in frustration and heads into bedroom. A few minutes later, he comes out stark naked except for his new shoes.

Lloyd

Now, do you notice anything different?

Pam

(Glances briefly at him.) No, dear. It's still drooping as usual.

Lloyd

It's pointing to my new shoes!

Pam

Hmmm... (Looks him up and down.) You should've bought a hat.
