Lydia..........................................................................African-American Woman in Ladybug Costume

Wild costume party later that night. Leah is drunk and alone. She looks around and sees Lydia standing in a dark corner. Leah approaches Lydia, grabs her and gives her a long, passionate kiss. Lydia pushes Leah away and slaps her face.

Lydia

Watchu' do that for?

Leah

Oh! I'm sorry! I thought you were my brother.

Lydia slaps her again.

Lydia

You idiot! I'm a sister!

Leah

Oh. (Pause.) Say, is it true what they say about once you go black, you never go back?

Lydia

Yes.

Leah

Oh. (Another pause.) And once you go bi, you never say bye?

Lydia

Again, yes.

Leah contemplates Lydia for a few minutes.

Leah

Eh! What the hell-?

Leah grabs Lydia again and starts kissing her passionately. They fall together off screen.
