It kind of looks like powdered milk from a box, like if you were to spill it all over the floor in a wild, random fashion.
MISSION
Roger that, commander. We look forward to your report. (beat) Are you going to step down now?
ARMSTRONG
I spilled powdered milk once, when I was eight. My mom got mad, spanked me and sent me to my room.
MISSION
Commander I ….
ARMSTRONG
I mean it wasn't my fault. It's just that I tried to catch it when it was falling and it (starts to choke back tears) and it just flew all over and …
MISSION
(interrupts) Buzz could you see what Neil is doing?
ARMSTRONG
(cont.) and I couldn't help it. She didn't have to be so mean! Years later I wanted my wife to spank me in the same way but she just said that was sick and then she left me! Why? It's o.k. for my mom to spank me but not my wife? I don't get it? Why should I feel guilty for having those feelings?
MISSION
Neil. Why don't you get back in the LEM and we'll try again tomorrow.
ARMSTRONG
No I'm going to go over there and build a sand castle. Mom would never let me. So leave me alone for a while.
MISSION
Roger the sand castle. Buzz you collect the rocks and don't step on Neil's castle. I'll call you when it's time to come in for dinner. Mission control out.
