Outdoors. An old beat-up pick-up truck with the tailgate down. From left to right, Billy, hillbilly #2 and the bear sit on the gate. They’re all drunk from drinking moonshine. Camera opens on close-up of Billy taking a swig from a moonshine jug. Camera follows jug as he passes it to hillbilly #2. He takes a swig from the jug. Camera follows jug as he passes it to the bear. He takes a swig of from the jug. Cut to frame of all three as the bear passes the jug back to hillbilly #2. Hillbilly #2 does a slow, confused double-take at the bear.

(Close-up.) Hey, Billy! Who’s your friend?

(Close-up of him turning to look at the bear.) What do you mean "my friend?" I thought he was with you.

Cut to wider frame of the two of them as hillbilly #2 turns to look back at the bear behind and off to one side of camera. They look puzzled. Cut to the bear turning to look at them behind and off to one side of camera. He belches, then quickly covers his mouth.

(Slurred.) S’cuse me!
