Please join us as Theatre Limina kicks off our 2005-06 season on November 3rd with Lee Blessing’s Eleemosynary at the 4th Street Theatre in St. Paul. This is Theatre Limina’s sixth season in the Twin Cities.

Eleemosynary (meaning “charitable”) examines the delicate relationship of three singular women: the grandmother, strong-willed and eccentric Dorothea; her brilliant daughter, Artie (Artemis), who has fled the stifling domination of her mother; and Artie's daughter, Echo, a child of exceptional intellect and sensitivity whom Artie has abandoned to an upbringing by Dorothea. The play, winner of the 1997 LA Drama Critics Circle Award, returns to the city in which it was first produced to mark its 20-year history.
